PMDG DC-6B KSJC-PHTO Flight

Found a no-wind day so I jumped on the opportunity to try this. At the half-way point, it looked like the fuel was going to make it to the runway, so I continued. 8 hrs 53 mins after departing San Jose, I rolled to a stop at Hilo, HI with 957 lbs (5%) fuel left.

Took some fuel tank management and shutting off the AFE (Artificial Flight Engineer) to get the props set where I wanted them. The engines did burn some oil - one, about half.

Well Harold, you actually are still flying! Been a long time since we've heard from you (except for your great work with birthdays). I'm guessing you are still flying FSEconomy and this was actually a flight from that environment. Glad to see you are still in the virtual skies.

Taking that trip in that aircraft was a major task and earns you the Iron Butt reward. :)
