I just recently upgraded to Win10 (not by my won choice!) and had trouble with FSX. However I didn't have any problems with FSACARS. One thing I did notice with the upgrade is it brought over all (well...almost all) my shortcuts in the Start menu but it did not set them to run as Admin as I had them set under Win7. Right click on your FSACARS in the Start menu and select MORE>RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR and see if this helps.

The error log is not going to help when the application erroneously reports FSX has crashed.

If run as administrator does not fix it, try changing permissions on the FSACARS directory to allow the user account write permissions.

Let me know how this works.

I will troll the Internet for solutions.

Please advise any possible changes to your system between when it was working and now.

You might try reinstalling FSACARS and FSUIPC from scratch.

If you turn off User Account Control (UAC), does it make any difference?

Wayne, do you start from a saved flight? or a fresh new one with the current date set. A loaded saved flight will show the date of the saved information on FSACARS. and not the current one. I had this problem some time ago.

As I stated in another forum, I've reverted back to Windows 7 because I couldn't get FSX to work with Windows 10. It would run for a few minutes then hang (grey screen) for 4 or 5 min. then continue to run for 10min before hanging again.
