Of the things you mentioned, I run the following under Windows 7 and FS9 without any problems:

ACTIVE SKY
FS ACARS (AAV VERSION)
LDL B767
PMDG 737, 747
PSS 757
FS NAVIGATOR

The main issues in the transition are:
1. Adjust the permissions on the FS9 directory in Win 7. Win 7 will try to lock it down so you can't make changes to the files.
2. Install everything as Administrator
3. Run everything as Administrator

Installing in a different folder than the default means in a folder other than Program Files (x86); however, you may run into a program that only looks for fs9 in the default location. You should be able to Google that.
