Question about hubs and FREQ bids

Post by Kyle David »

Hello is KFLL allowed as trip originators and where you can end a trip? I ask because LGA and JFK are both nyc bases. In real world AA on the 737 some crews do what’s called “limo” they go to Mia airport but get transported to fll airport to start their trip or vice Versa. Many carriers do it including mine.

Re: Question about hubs and FREQ bids

Today's policy is New York airports only. Covered in section 5.2 of the pilots handbook.
Note for JFK : Pilots may consider any of the three major New York Airports (JFK, EWR, and LGA) to be equivalent. For example, they may terminate one flight at KLGA and originate the next at KJFK.
