Anyone else having trouble getting email from Discord?

Is anyone else having trouble getting email from our Discord server?
I'm trying to set up a new phone and can't seem to receive any verification emails on any device (phone, PC, webmail).
I've mashed the "resend code" button a dozen times.

No. I received one this AM. 7:30 . On my Email acct

I recently received an email that appears to be from Discord stating that I needed to change my user ID to a unique username by March 1st, and if I didn't a unique ID would be assigned to me. Is this valid? Has anyone else gotten an email like this?

The Discord user name change is a real thing.

If you don't want to trust the link you can log into Discord and the first thing you will get is a pop up asking you to change your user name.
