Updated DC6B for Retro use FYI

Post by Wayne Pierce »

OK all you pilots who are lining up for the Retro exam, here is the newest updated just this past months, DC6-b from Cal- Classics for FSX. And it is a FREEBIE! http://www.calclassic.com/planes.html
Better git'it before it goes away and hold on to it.

This one has a much better VC than the old one and has more stuff on the outside ( See picture). It is a little faster than the old one was. But it still handles like a truck in the mud. I still didn't like the moving prop textures so I switched with another prop plane in FSX. Looks better
WLP
PS. Guess the airport and "WIN THIS PLANE"

Sergio Sanchez wrote:Thanks Wayne, but which one is it? I only see planes for FS98, FS2000 and FS2002. I dot even see the FS9...

The American repaint says FSX, but it says its only the textures and that I need the United Base Pack, which, I dont see a FSX version
The first plane on the page for DC6B is a united airlines plane. It does say right next to it in the description -fs2004/ FSX - That is the plane from which the FSX DC6 for AAL is based on. You click the mouse on the picture of the plane to download it. You have to read the installation instruction very very well :D
