Once we managed get away from San Juan, everything was fun after that for most of us. Hope somebody gets some pics of the Sunday flights.

I was the next to last to take off. I had filed VFR and direct to TFFJ and was cleared for class c airspace transition. I did wait for ATC to take off and after was given the option to stay below 10,000' and not contact ATC, or climb to my files FL and contact ATC. Which one did I opt for? Of course not to contact or have flight following. So I had no problems once I was underway and flew at 9,500'. I did do a hold, like a gentleman, and let Rick enter the pattern ahead of me or their would have been a big hole on the hill just before the runway from the both of us trying to fit in the space together. Maybe I'll do it again on sunday just for grins

Sorry I couldn't be there. I had to go fight crime and suppress evil for the evening, but I'll be there tomorrow in my shiny Dash 6.

The departure for today's flight has been changed. Departure will be from Ribas-Dominici Airport (TJIG). The route remains the same as TJIG is just a few miles to the west of SJU. Feel free to file VFR if you want to.
