The FSACARS forum questions win top prize for most questions asked I think. For all the answers the forum search for FSACARS will bring just about all of them up and the same questions.

I get the same error and problem also in fact just this week. There is some files that you can delete or edit to fix it. Here is what I do. I save the AAl. files with my information typed in already. I run the install and remove the FSACARS program and then install it again. It fixes what I screwed up. To me this is a sure fire method to fix it. just put back the AAL.cfg file with my information and I am ready to fly and FSACARS again.

If you want to delete a logged flight so that a report is NOT sent to the AAVirtual web-site, you need to delete the .dat file that starts with AAL followed by your pilot number. Mine is called AAL270.dat. You need to delete the file before you start FSACARS and log data for a second flight.
