I have found the FSX erj panel doesn't want to work in my system. So I aliased the panel cfg file to the default CRJ
panel.cfg for AEV erj140
[fltsim]
alias=Bombardier_CRJ_700\panel
I also found I had to change the sound cfg to an 737-800 as I don't have the 737-400 it calls for.
And also there was no avionics/electronics master switch on the panel so in FSX settings/options/control/buttonsand keys a key needs to be assigned to turn on the Avionics Master.
Also make sure you have fuel in all tanks to start engines. I had to use ctrl-e to start them.
If this is needed to fly a checkride it will work fine for you, or else you need to spend money and buy a good plane.
