For those of you whom like this sort of thing. I picked up the keys to my newest B 737.
For all the hype, it is unbelievably easy to operate, flies wonderfully and my framerates are very good. I took it for a spin this AM and just using my knowledge of all the other 737's, I own, I was able to get it started, programmed, up in the air and flying around without any extra use of any handbooks. Detail is pretty good. The AAL skin, pictured has some weathered metal staining but still looks new. So far this was the easiest of all the PMDG products to load on the computer and install. Complain all you want about not buying from PMDG or the cost, I was waiting for it and now it is here.
You guessed it. PMDG Baby!!

Re: You guessed it. PMDG Baby!!
My report after just one t/o and landing circuit with the PMDG and having flown the iFly .... the iFly is like a toy model; the PMDG, the real thing. I may have a new fav airplane.

Re: You guessed it. PMDG Baby!!
Some of you may know that I have a little cockpit with some switches and dials and things to make me happy..
I have found that the PMDG 737 has, FINALLY, put in their product a config system using the FMC as input, where I can place some of aircraft functions, which were not able to be done previously, and assign them to my cockpit switches. This is a bonus!
This is getting better all the time. It is getting close to being worth the long wait.
