Sounds like you are attempting to pre-file a flight plan. I know VATSIM's Statistics server is down so they can rebuild their RAID disk configuration so maybe that is also the server handling pre-filed plans. Simplest thing to do is file your flight plan just prior to departing using your online application (SquakBox or FSINN).
