Announcing our new Charlotte hub

I'm pleased to announce the opening of our new Charlotte hub. Charlotte joined American Airlines as a hub through the US Airways merger. Charlotte is a major east coast hub with over 4,000 flights and many new equipment offerings including Dash 8-300, A319/320/321, and A330 aircraft. Watching where our pilots fly, this seemed a great place to add a hub as we are seeing quite a few flights along the former US Airways routes.

As part of the change, the San Juan PR hub (TJSJ) will be closed, and the staff, including hub manager Julio Morales, will transfer to KCLT and operate the new hub.

I want to remind our pilots that you're encouraged to change hubs periodically in order to keep your flying experience at AAVirtual fresh and new. If you would like to transfer to the new KCLT hub, please request a transfer from your hub manager.

We are looking into the Taco situation right away. We are considering the following company as a replacement.

TACOS VERACRUZ
Tacos Veracruz is a taco truck serving Southern Florida with he most delicious authentic Mexican food you'll find! With recipes originating from Cordoba Veracruz Mexico, and fresh with all Florida grown veggies, these tasty bites are sure to please. And if tacos aren't your speed, try tamales, a quesadilla, or a burrito instead!

Notice the missing "T".
