Thanks guys. I got pushed kicking and screaming into completing my Retro. With the MD-80 being phased out I had to finally bite the bullet and get the Retro done. I've got the F1 CoolSky Super80 Pro and like to fly that a/c.

Maybe it's time to split our Retro checkride into Retro-Props and Retro-Jets. I just don't see you using all those exhaust manifold adjustment skills you perfected on the checkride when you fly in your MD-80.

Nothing like having to work at flying when in the 737-200 or 727-200. Congrats and enjoy! 8)

Congrats Ted. About time you earned Retro. I also agree with splitting retro props and retro jets. I'm up for another Checkride challenge.

Congrats Ted! Man I've been away for like 6 years and even I have my retro endorsement! What took you sooooo long?

You're right Rey. I put this one off for a long time....just wasn't very interested in the older prop's. However I got the A2A B-17 and the Captain Sim C-130 both of which are fun to fly. They have peaked my interest in prop's and now the Connie has been released which looks very interesting but is a little expensive I think. I will eventually get the Connie as well as get more into the intricacies of properly handling the prop engines.

Having both the A2A Captain of the Ship airliners - B377 and now the L049 Connie - I would suggest getting the B377 first. The Connie is an older airliner and looks better than the B377, but now that I've had a little time with the Connie (as pilot and not play flight engineer, too) I find the B377 to be my favorite of the two a/c.

If Wayne has gotten the Connie, he might have a different take.

Thanks for the input Harold.
