Just to confirm that we have received an anonymous nomination to this effect; however, action is being postponed pending the assembling of the surviving current members (past members are not allowed to cast votes), their medical equipment, and caretakers. The current holdup is the (lacking) corporate financial backing to schedule the requisite 747 aircraft to haul all that to Hawaii.

Given these difficulties, we may have to fall back to the alternate membership path - though much less fun - of allowing a probationary membership for 5 years with induction to follow at the end of that time if there have been no dissenting votes during the probationary period. You'll be a shoo-in if you continue showing behavior appropriate to the designation.

So, Captain Keenan, consider yourself a probationary member of the AAV Old Fogey's! There is no increase in salary or other perks; however, your coupon for 3 pounds off a bottle of Rejuvinate elixir has been mailed. Remember, the AAV flight restriction of not flying within 2 days of taking the elixir as it's major ingredient is finely aged DFW goat's milk.
