Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everybody know that I am making an attempt to relocate to San Antonio, TX from Des Moines, IA where I currently reside. I am gonna go down first and get my job setup and find housing. Then later this summer the rest of my family is going to join me if everything works out. I will be busy trying to line up work and an apartment so I might not be on here much for awhile. I did send Barry an email notifying him so in the meantime please contact him if you need anything. I will post back when I'm up and going hopefully in San Antonio. Wish me luck everyone, I'm going to need it. I'm leaving Tomorrow (Monday) and should arrive in San Antonio on Tuesday.

Just a quick check in. I have located a job. Now working on an apartment which I have applied to one so we will see how that goes. I start work Monday May 7th. Hopefully the apartment works out cause funds are starting to get limited. I have internet access (obviously as you can see), but not sure about doing flights at this moment. Well I will keep everyone posted as things progress.

Sorry for the long pause everyone. Thanks Ted. That was quick and just in the nick of time. My money was pretty much at the point of finding something or giving up all hope and returning to Iowa. I did get my apartment and I have internet now so my presence will be back to normal now. Sorry I've been in the shadows for so long. I live on the NE side of San Antonio. I do have a job however it doesn't pay the best so I'm still looking at other options. I will start flying here again soon. Anyways I'm back.

Well another update and turn of events. I am now back in Des Moines, IA. My family decided that they couldn't leave Iowa with the bulk of our families living here so I decided to move back to be with my family. I have returned to my old job which I start Wednesday. Texas was nice, certainly worth the experience but wasn't worth it without my family. I moved back over the weekend so I'm officially no longer a Texan.

Sorry it didn't work out for you in Texas. Maybe the uptick in the economy will make a difference for you in Iowa and open new opportunities there.
