When you are proud of very smooth landing...

...and puzzled why/how the autobrakes (1) stopped you soo quickly and why it is you are not moving anymore, right there at taxiway exit, throttles open and all...

On a serious (?) note, can this flight still be submitted as FREP, I mean, everyone walked out of this one, therefore it can be considered 'successful landing'... :)

p.s. I will NOT retire this one. It will be repaired.

This is a first. I have never done that  . No one I know has ever done that. 8) I never will do that. :P

Thanks for owning up to this Robert. It is usually the kind of thing one keeps quiet.

I'll pay to fix the plane.
The runway repairs come out of your pay check.

Can't say I've forgotten the landing gear. I have forgotten some other things, but never the gear. That is impressive that you owned up to the mistake and posted pictures of the incident. That's going to be quite the bill for runway repairs.

Runway repairs? Naaah...

This was but a scratch... And my buttery landings... Come thinking of it, as that happened, and passengers disembarked, I went out with a broom (there is always a broom in lavatory, of course) and merely swiped the runway, that was all it needed.

Couple of antennae, pieces of broken beacon glass, and that was it... With them engines all the way up, belly landing is almost a non-event... (except one cannot taxi away from the runway, which is a mildly inconvenient)....

The plane itself is buffing out nicely and will be out of shop shortly, even better than before...

;)

OK then well since no major repair to the runway, the Pick-up-and-tow bill will be added to your account, and I assume it will be quite substantial as you tried to sweep the runway repair under the tarmac.
We get you one way or another!
