Approach into KPHX

If you fly out of the KPHX hub, you get to make approaches over beautiful scenery like this:

Beautiful Scenery ? Last week, June 14, I drove through that scenery enroute to Flagstaff AZ. It was 119deg F. A tire on my trailer blew out as it heated up so much it could not stand it. A spare was put on with the traffic whizzing by. And then $185. later all was right with the "vacation" I was on. Yes it is nice stuff if one likes the Desert. 8)

EDIT PS; Here is where I was and what I was doing. :D

As to the heat, I was in air-conditioned (filtered, too) comfort all the way to the parking garage and my air-conditioned car. Even a desert can be beautiful.

Hope you are enjoying your vacation.

Harold - you must also have a degree in Marketing, you hype your hub sooooo well  .

Wayne - Hope you had a great vacation (excluding the flat trailer tire).
