The 30s

…After a few years, initially, American Airways was a common brand by a number of independent carriers, entrepreneur E.L Cord branded the conglomerate as "American Airlines". American Airlines began work to create a new aircraft. The product was the DC-3, which became America's airplane.
The first flights operated between New York and Chicago. The DC-3 allowed American Airlines to carry passengers and their baggage. Previously, American Airlines relied on mail transportation and shared routes with the railroad.
As American Airlines expanded its DC-3 service, they also began looking to improve the passenger experience on the ground. The first Admirals Club emerged around this time. American also worked to build New York's LaGuardia Airport… (*)

How can I fly?

Fly to remember the beginning of the world's largest airline, how? Stimpson 6000 Fokker F-10-A or DC3, DC2 are recommended but other old props are suitable to recreate these routes. I recommend investigating real classic flights in our pamphlets and maps (new pamphlets and maps could be added). This is your scout and discover job see below!

How can I report?

ONLINE: we will need your report to check the flight in VATSIM. (You should fly using your company code "AAL925” or OFFLINE: send with our FSACARS

1- When you are filling your FREP: [GFI Flight or Theme Flight you should select Yes]. [ and if online VATSIM Flight you should select Yes].
2- In the comments add the note of your leg Classic route AA 30´s
3- You should add your e-mail in the e-mail area: [“WANT A COPY OF THIS FREP BY EMAIL? Yes”. And in “YOUR EMAIL” you have to add your e-mail]
4- You will receive the email to your personal mail. I recommend filing the report received.
5- Validation:
• Post the flight in our Discord operation channel but only the route example: On a 30´s typical route from New York to Chicago, you only have to write in the Discord Forum: New York to Chicago 30´s. and the day. DD/MM/YY
• The next flight will be from Chicago to New York 30´s DD/MM/YY.
• It would be helpful to send us the pamphlet where you have seen the route, you can write in Discord.
• We will validate the flight and give a number to your route. Next flight you can start wherever you want for example Los Angeles to…
6- We will check the online flight on the VATSIM page or Offline flights with FSACARS. All the flights with no reports will be refused.
7- The flight will be validated in Discord operations channel. Good luck with the discoveries!

(*) The story has been elaborated from different sources, if you want to change anything or modify it or find any comment of yours that you want to remove, we will be happy to do it, it is only a document elaborated for informative purposes and not for profit.
The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn't it be?--it is the same the angels breathe.

All the flights listed in the Old timetables are in the Retro Time Table on our web site. These retro flights were hand input from these old AA Timetables some years ago.
