Kevin, which version of FS are you using? This will determine the files you need and also the process!!

Kevin,

Ok...first you need to have all the files. If you have not done so go to Avsim and get:

Lonny Payne 757 pnl_v1
Lonny Payne 757 pnl_v2update
yuo also need the 2 guage updates
and finally the patch for FS9

You can find all of these by going to Avsim and doing a search for 'Lonny Payne'

OK-
1) Run unzip the 1st file "Version 1.1", this has an installer with it, just make sure you root the installation to FS9. This will install a TWA 757 in your aircraft folder and this AC has the panel with it.

2) unzip the Version 1.2 update and copy these files to the appropriate folders in FS9......and just say 'ok' when it asks to overwrite.

3) unzip the 2 guage updates and put these guages in your 'guages folder'

4) unzip the FS9 update and copy this information to the appropriate folders............... So if the folder says panel, copy it to the panel file and so on.

At this point you should have a full functional 757 w/panel avaliable to you...but you are probably going to say you want one in an AAL Livelery, so go and pick one out....I hear the new Project Opensky 757 is great for FS9.

So now if you want the 'Lonny Payne' panel in your newly downloaded 757, just put this ...AND ONLY THIS...in your "NEW PLANES" panel cfg file:

[fltsim]
alias=Boeing 757-TWA/Panel

So this will tell FS to load the new 757 with the proper panel.

Hope this answers your questions..

doesn't the fleet 752 come with the Lonny Payne panel already Greg? I might have gotten it from somewhere else, can't remember.

Norbert,

It has been a while since I have had FS2002, but the above proceedure should work fine...just DO NOT include the patch for FS9 (which is the last step).

As far as our Fleet 752 from the fleet download utility. Yes it does include the Lonny Payne panel but it is the FS9 version...so Norbert you will need to go and download the version from Avsim per the instructions posted at the beginning of this thread.

Cheers!
