Re: Proof in the picture

Looks like you were looking for a tail strike on landing there Bert, maybe we need to start equipping your birds with tail hooks  This was taken by a runway side video camera and a still shot taken out for evidence. The proof is in the picture. This was not edited like the previous images ...

I'm with you Jeff. Looked like a tail strike to me when I first looked at it as well. :)

Re: Shots from my first FSX Bid

Screenshot of 777 on final during sunset looks fake!!

Those shots of the JS41 and flying with Harold and Wayne are making me want to spend some money to get the PMDG version. Looks like a lot of fun (and some times headaches) to fly.

Re: Yes kids,

I did fly a couple of patterns in the stuff and had no problems getting up to about 240 kts. I didn't experiment to see what would happen if I "forgot" to turn on the anti-ice. As Harold found out during our GFI if you leave the prop anti-icing on your speed will be limited to about...

Re: FSX and FSInn

The prior version of FSINN that worked with FS9 automatically disable AI traffic when you went online. The new version that works with FSX does not do this. Don't know if it is an issue with FSX or with FSInn but it is documented (somewhere).

Re: AAL Overshoots runway at Jackson Hole

My first thought on this was the pilot landed long and with the snow on the runway brakes were no use. Had to totally depend on reverse thrust which takes more runway to stop. AA grabbing the black box makes me think they had this thought as well.

Re: New random FREQ generator

That was always a pain having to manually create the FREQ when it was already right there on the screen. I totally agree on that one! Hope you're feeling better Ted. I'm getting better but can't sit at computer more that 30min at a time yet. So I've been grounded since before Christmas...missing th...

Re: New random FREQ generator

Wayne, the greatest thing about the improvements you made is the ability to automatically copy the bid to a FREQ. That was always a pain having to manually create the FREQ when it was already right there on the screen.

Thanks for your work on this. We do appreciate it.
