Re: New COMMANDER at KMIA Mr. Nicolas Akentjew
Congratulations Nicolas. I myself have the Commander checkride left on the to do list, but I'm still over 300 hrs away from qualifying for it. This is an outstanding achievement here at AAV, you should be very proud of this accomplishment. Way to go man.

Congratulations for the new 3 stars
The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn't it be?--it is the same the angels breathe.

Nicolas, congratulations on joining this elite circle. Not only does your pay double, but you get the gold key to the executive washroom. Oh, yes, and the secret decoder ring, too.
Seriously, you earned this through your dedication in time spent flying and in learning how to fly properly. That is an accomplishment you can be proud of.

I have to echo everyone's comments in congratulating you Nicolas, this is truly a great achievement considering the standards that the trainnig guys hold us to. This one is definitely an achievement you had to earn. Congratulations again and enjoy the executive washroom, and the new ability to fly those corporate jets.
P.S. I never did get my decoder ring when I made commander.

Commander Akentjew!
That sounds great. Much congratulations Nicolas on this big acheivement at AAV. Making it to 1000 hours is a milestone in itself but passing the commander checkride is fantastic. It is a pleasure to have you at AAV and in the ranks of the dog pound in Miami.

Re: New COMMANDER at KMIA Mr. Nicolas Akentjew
Well lets see here: 1000.00 - 882.10 = 117.90 Hours to go. Soon I will find myself face to face with the checkride. Me against the forces of the evil checkride. Who and what will survive... me, the passengers, the homes on the ground, the plane, my writing skills. stay tuned next year for more on operation checkride......Michael Blakely wrote:Congratulations Nicolas.
