I've never heard of this before but I saw it on one of the ads in my facebook. Anyone heard of or tried http://flightprosim.com/ ??? The page is pretty cheesy, but it may have some potential.

I have not verified this, but according to some other forums,

Someone has taken the free, open-source FlightGear package at http://www.flightgear.org/ and is selling it for $47. He's within his rights to do so as long as his package remains under the GPL, but it doesn't appear to do so. If you bought this, you just paid $47 for a copy of FlightGear on DVD with a different name.

Well dadgum it! I guess the FS world is just in a friggen tailspin with people just doing whatever they want with software, be it their own or someone else's. I've never heard of flightgear either. Has anybody messed with it??? From what I saw on the first site it's still in diapers, but it might have some good potential if MS does not put the ACE team back together.


Edit: After looking at your link it appears you are correct Mike. They even went as far as copying some of the features listed on the flightgear site verbatim. $47 bucks when people can get the same thing for free. That makes me sick.
