You'd better fly with the default 738 and wait for the PMDG stuff. Unfortunately these guys don't tell something about release dates. However they're good of keeping these dates secret and noone knows something about these dates. I remember myself waiting 8 months for (the excellent by the way) MD11. But for sure I think it's worth waiting my friend.
