Fast flight question
I was wondering if somebody could fly the Concorde from New York to Heathrow just like the old times! I only speak about Commanders and retro endorsed pilots. British Airways is an One World alliance member and it would be great if we could simulate the supersonic era.

Re: Fast flight question
OK Sergio. Thanks for your reply. Although you've covered me, I think I'll wait for a couple of positive replies and I guess that my next FREQ will be full of Concorde flights. Thank you once more buddy!

Re: Fast flight question
Yes you can positively fly the Concorde with a Retro Endorsement if you hold that rank of Sr. Capt or higher . Positive about this

One million hours Sergio? Actually the SST is one of the few types I haven't flown... not sure why.

Re: Fast flight question
Yeah Bert. The point is that is it OK to fly with it? Would you have a problem if a KORD pilot submit a FREP flown with a Concorde? And I suggest you by the way to fly some legs with this great airliner! Yesterday a flew from EGLL to KJFK and I really was chasing the sun. I left London with no sun at all and I' ve landed at New York with the cabin and cockpit lights shut off!!! Try it and thanks for your reply.

Re: Fast flight question
I think it was Jaxan who did all the Concorde flying. It is perfectly within the rules to fly it so long as you are a Sr. Captain with a retro rating. I may give it a shot one of these days.

I love to fly the concorde. It's a complex aircraft that keeps you on your toes.

Re: Fast flight question
That's right Mike. I love especially the fuel transfer procedure and the way this bird flies. Very complex technology for today too I'd say.

Re: Fast flight question
Yeah it was not me. not sure but i've never flown it before either. I think back when I first got into simming I was wanting to try it. I downloaded a freeware and was not impressed. Haven't been interested since.
