New International Quito Airport

Nex FEB 19 will close after 52 years SEQU, Quito airport. All actual airport land will be modified to a Metropolitan Park.

The New Quito Airport SEQM will start operations morning FEB 20. It is about 10 miles East from SEQU
in TABABELA town.
New RWY 36/18 is 12,000 ft lenght and at lower altitute 7,800 feet .
On next days a new SEQM Scenery will be ready for free download. Old one should be deleted.

Dear friends:

Last FEB 20 Quito airport SEQU was close. SEQM the new one is operating normaly.
All AA and One World parteners flight plans should use SEQM as the new Mariscal Sucre
Quito Arrival and Departure airport.

Scenery and Charts are ready for free download as was posted in the following messages.

All virtual operations are moving next days to new airport also. Virtual SEQU will be close soon.

I found helpful to modify AAV TIMETABLES changing old SEQU for new SEQM. Flight numbers
mantain.
