Working on this weeks GFI I found this routing interesting to see. The planned flight was Direct: 687 sm Planned: 710 sm Flown: 1,131 sm. Look at the flown miles and then the picture to see why.
There is a hold pattern with 4 circuits involved. The reason being the storms at KDFW I am sure.
