Xplane 10 and Sqauwkbox!
Why did I wait!!!!!! No more sim crashing my computer, easy to use free add-ons. I searched the VA's forums looking for input on XP10..are many people using it? It's such an improvement! Just need some Level D worthy add-ons now! any suggestions? It's nice to be back on VATSIM

How big is your x-plane installation? I liked the x-plane demo, but I'm gonna need a huge drive to finally let go of FS9. I'd like to go to x-plane, but unless I hit the lottery it's going to involve a very large SSD and some type of periodic migration through FSX. LOL As it stand right now, my FS9 installation is 54.9 GB and the FSX folder is 92.8 GB. That doesn't take into account any utilities that live outside the root folders.

Mine looks around 25GB. I don't have any special scenery involved though. I have the VMAX 757 Professional. It's amazing and I'm getting 50-60FPS without an issue. It is so easy to download scenery, I'll have to try the seasons you mentioned Sergio. Add-ons could not be more simple! Thanks for the input.........ANYONE ELSE, If you are out there waiting like I was; ITS WORTH IT!
