FSACARS issue after new MSFS update

I'm not sure if it is related to yesterday's update, but the problem only appeared after updating. I flew yesterday morning and use FSacars with no issue. I updated the sim this morning. Just started a flight KORD-KDFW. When I start FSacars just before pushing back, like I always do, It could not detect that I was at the departure airport. I kept getting the question asking if I was at the departure airport. Over and Over and over... Has anyone encountered this? I'm keeping track of time old school...making me work for my AAV paycheck!

Shot in the dark. Try running FSACARS as administrator.

NOTE: FSACARS stores two sets of data, one when you run normally, and a different data set when you "run as administrator". So make sure you run it the same way you did for the flight you recorded.

Yup. Always run everything flight sim related as Admin.

I would research if the new version of MSFS needs a new version of FSUIPC.

Suggestions:
1. FSUIPC update
2. FSUIPC Uninstall and reinstall.
3. FSACARS Uninstall and reinstall

So I uninstalled and reinstalled FSACARS. No fix. Just does not detect I'm at the gate and keeps asking if I am at my departure gate.

Ok updated FSUIPC again. I had updated at the end of last week. Another update came out at the beginning of this week. I noticed in the release note that it doesn't start automatically when MSFS is started any more. So I started it first before i opened up MSFS and it is working again. I think the note said if you do not install the desktop shortcut, it wouldn't start MSFS any more when clicking that shortcut. I usually avoid installing shortcuts any more as they clutter the desktop to no end. I'll just add starting FSUIPC to my routine to get MSFS running. Currently on a flight and FSACARS is logging it. Good to go.
