6pts for Arturo! (that's American football)

For some reason, my group shot did not come out, but it was a great little GFI.

We had DFW Tower to talk to and our own Jose Suarez (AAV2) jumped on Ft Worth Center for part of our flight. Once out of Ft Worth Center we were uncontrolled!

Great to have Arturo join us. Don't know if this was his first GFI but he handled it like the pro's AAV trains up. Always great to fly with new people and make new friends.

For those of you pondering whether to jump into the GFIs, let me give you a couple of reasons:
1. I didn't spend a dime while I was flying - the thousands have already been spent just getting here
2. The wife got to watch whatever she wanted on the TV
3. There's no dress code (and I don't want to know)
4. If you're in uncontrolled airspace, you can be doing almost any other thing while Otto flys the plane - again, I don't want to know. You might even watch your favorite Rangers win the basball game and get into the World Series. :D
5. You get to make a lot of new friends - sometimes from other parts of the world - how much richer we are for that experience.

Rangers moved to the World Series so I was watching the game... GO RANGERS!!!!! Next week we have a party with some friends, so I will miss it again...
Just line the chairs up behind your computer airliner style. Your wife can be the flight attendant, and we'll entertain them for you.

Hey, who's Ted Stevens? I'll have to remember that the next time Harold Thomas sends in a FREP for approval :D .

Great shots thought, especially of Ted Stevens' GREAT landing  .

Ted, you know how old I am! But I will go back and make a change -- I may even get it right.

Thanks Harold

Great shots all. Your Electra awesome in special during dusk.

I enjoy a lot this GFI flight, and I wait about 10 minutes to be ATC cleared off DFW due to
some area traffic.

I hope flight again with this great group.

Sorry my english.

Cheers

Arturo

Looks like I"ll be dancing with myself as I was the only one to show up tonight. We'll see you in Louisville! :P

Bert,
I was flying the final leg of my FREQ tonight and saw you online, but you weren't alone. I saw Barry Theodore was trailing you into KSDF as you were on approach. I flew this one Friday and considered flying it again tonight but decided to complete my short bid (which was a reenactment of the RW flights I took a couple of weeks ago).

Yes, Barry took off about 30 minutes after me and snuck up behind me. We were on TS for a short while. I took a few shots that I will post later. It was a nice flight! I got a short hold, which I hadn't done in a while. Indy CTR was on the ball. :)
