I held off getting any "other" 737. The PMDG may have taken eons to finally come to fruition, but it is going to be a phenominal aircraft simulation! IMO, well worth the $70 they are asking. I was a bit disappointed to see that all variants were not included in the package, but again, I'll gladly pay the 24.99 to pick up the 600- 700- variants later. (They won't be released for another 4 - 6 weeks after the initial base package release anyway; enough time to recover from my initial $70 drop )
I may wait a day or two to see if any unforeseen bugs surface from other users; but otherwise I am definately buying...
After seeing how arrogant and just plain rude they behaved on their forums I'm not giving them one more red cent. It's their own fault that customers got so restless with the release date and they act like they are some sort of flight sim diety???? I don't care how good the software is. I own just about every other product they've published with the exception of the MD-11 but I will not buy another product from PMDG and I hope the rest of the flight sim community lets them know how bad they messed up.

I bought it last weekend, but I decided to wipe and reformat my PC and start from a clean slate. I'm still adding and configuring so I'm not sure if I'll be there tonight but I hope to!
It's killing me having the NGX and not flying it yet! I hope to get my first flight in tonight!!!
I've been reading the forums extensively and there is only one major issue that PMDG has with the NGX and that is some sort of cockpit lockup/FSX freeze. They are on it though and are actively taking information from the users who are experiencing the problem so they can release a patch ASAP.
One of the workarounds is disabling FSUIPC AutoSave feature; not sure Richard, but maybe that will help you if it applies. I'm a firm believer in yearly PC wipes though so that's certainly not going to hurt either.
