New Button?

Would it be terribly difficult to add a button to the homepage for checking weather at a particular airport? Maybe it could ping the same server that the fuel planner does for METAR's. It could go at the bottom by the VATSIM banner. :?:

Good idea. I'll add it to my to-do list. Also moving this thread to the web-site forum.

In another moment of confusion...err, I mean enlightenment... I was wondering if it's possible to export a pilot's logbook to some sort of text (.csv) or spreadsheet file. We are all supposed to keep offline logbooks in case the website every buys the farm but personal computers get upgraded, hard drives crash, or if you're like me and just plain lazy, you may not have all your flights recorded somewhere. I guess copy and paste works to do it manually, but I'm just sayin'.. :D

I can do it. What is worth to you? I could use a new pair of Oakley sunglasses, maybe the Super 80 Pro, OH OH OH, I know, a yoke, throttle quadrant, and pedals!!

Just kidding.

I would be willing to do this for anyone, it might take some time to get to it though.

LOL!!! I know you could do it individually Mike. I was thinking more along the lines of a link or button to trigger a query that produces a text file instead of the web page with the pilot's logbook info. That way you don't have to do it manually. I could copy and paste my stuff and create the file manually. As a matter of fact, I'll go ahead and try that and see how it imports into Excel. I'll let you know how it works out. ;)
