I believe this has happened before and not in the far distant past to another pilot. Make sure your sound cfg file for the erj is pointing to an airplane you have on your FS files. You may have to change it to emulate another plane you have. the download files we have use stock FS planes sound cfg's. See where the CRJ is pointing to and use it.
I am not a wise computer expert. I have run into this problem myself and fixed it.
