It was a fun flight for me. My brother used to live in Reno. I was not impressed. The best thing about Reno is that it's so close to Tahoe. No offense if any one lives there.

A very good turnout for this GFI. One newb and one olde showed up. Here's what I have for participants: Olde Rey Ramon (AAV125), John Moore (AAV280), Rick Stevens (AAV409), Bert Rivera (AAV476), me (AAV580), Sergio Sanchez (AAV742), Wayne Pierce (AAV783), Steve Sondheimer (AAV825), and NewB Jim Parish (AAV1050).

Here's the tower few of a few of us gathered at San Diego.

The Crowd.

This was a fun flight with not a few overcoming technical difficulties to at least get in the vicinity of Reno. We had ATC only at the Reno tower and we appreciated that - he seemed to be enjoying us gaggling in as much as we did.

Great numbers and special Kudo's to our newb, Jim Parish, and our olde, Rey Ramon, for joining us. Look forward to having you join us next time.
