Re: JFK Pilot becomes Retro
Great job Panagiotis. Are you a DC-6 or an MD-11 type of retro pilot?

Congratulations, Panagiotis. For me, that was one of the harder checkrides to master. A DC6 is definitely NOT a 738 or an MD80.
Wisdom begins when you finally realize someone else is in charge of the universe.

Re: JFK Pilot becomes Retro
congratulations Panagiotis. This is definately one of the hardest checkrides I have taken. I haven't taken the Commander one yet so I can't speak for that one. This one your wrist is going to hurt if your using a joystick, at least mine did. It was definately a challenge, so be proud you passed it, it's definately an achievement. Wear that retro stripe with pride, you earned it.

Re: JFK Pilot becomes Retro
Thank you guys!
The truth is that it was a bit difficult, but I suppose I' m a good one!!!
DC6 was really a challenging aircraft to fly, but I had a relly good flight with it. It was funny!!!
As for you Mr. Blackley I' d like to fly a boeing 727 or an MD-11 (That' s my best by the way) rather than the old props.
A big thanks to all of you guys.
