Well, after years of being stuck in European2 hyperspace an old guy pulls it off and finishes his endorsements and finally gets the Euro2 checkride! Harold Henderson pulled another one out of his ball cap and lays the checkride book on the table.

Congratulations Harold!

Harold is now looking forward to a "Euro3 and a Mars1" checkride. :)

Congrats Harold!

One of these days, when I grow up, I'll finish that checkride too. ;)

Thanks, guys.

Yeah - that "Airbus PRO" comment is kind of like saying you're qualified to be the dog that is just along for the ride. Airbus NOT = Boeing! Like a good chess program, you have the sinking feeling that the Airbus FMC is always plotting a few moves ahead of you. When it works, it's great. When it goes south, you're left holding the bag. Guess that's why they haven't removed the pilot from the cockpit, yet.

Congratulations Harold, great achievement in a plane that is not always friendly.

I have been trying to come to grips with the A320 for EURO1. I agree with some of the other posts sometimes it co-operates and other times it is just fails to do what you want it to. Over this past week I have found some useful information on "Youtube" and can now get the thing up to cruise altitude with out it either falling out of the sky, going "overspeed" or stalling.
Still seems to do what it wants in a holding pattern, even though the map on the display looks ok.

Great job mate.

Thanks for the information Sergio. I came to the conclusion last night that I would have to fly the hold in a semi-manual fashion. But, after looking at the website you suggested it looks like a lot of the problems I have been seeing are fixed with his update.
Thanks Mate.
