AAV Help Needed

X-Plane Technical Coordinator
Job Description: Identify, test, and document the tools and fleet add-ons required to add X-Plane support to AAV. Tools we need include a flight recorder for recording check rides, flight analysis tools for the check pilots to analyze and grade the check rides, and an FSCARS like tool to record flight data and automatically submit FREPs. Fleet add-ons would include freeware and payware version of the current and retro AAV fleet and panels. The candidate will work with the AAV check pilots and CEO to identify the requirements for the X-plane tools, find available tools on the internet, download and test the tools, and report back. Tools selected for use will be documented to help check pilots and fleet pilots download, install, configure, and use the tools.

Web Site Application Developer
Job Description: Develop, test, and troubleshoot new applications for the AAVirtual website. Applications needing development include METAR check, On-Line pilots display, FSPassengers integration, FSACARS and FSPassengers data logbook, selectable site color scheme, award ribbons, and much more. Candidate must have a basic knowledge of, or have the technical back ground to learn, web site development using html, php, and mySQL.
Additional Requirements: At least 6 months membership at AAV, a good currency record, a positive recommendation from at least one staff member, and no negative staff references.
