North to Alaska again..again

Here it is on Sunday, at the AAV GFI. This was the busiest GFI on this day so far. We had 7 pilots. AAV783, AAV537, AAV825, AAV699, AAV1083, AAV953, AAV967. ATC sent us on our merry way, North to Alaska. From Seattle thru Vancouver airspace and into the Anchorage area terminus. The fellow at Vancouver was a little hard to understand, which we assumed he had swallowed his Mic. ATC at Anchorage did a great job of spacing us for our landing which turned into a visual approach with vectors to DME/Z RWY11. Not unlike our trip on Friday where we self ATC'd and flew the chart. The fellow at Achorage as stated he had to rush as a real world thunderstorm was approaching his AO and wasn't to sure if the power would remain on.
We were joined on this flight by new pilot AAV1083, Brian Robertson of KDFW who made his first flight on VATSIM and his first GFI. He did an outstanding job of messing up. . The picture is of his first landing for his achievement. Jerry Swelling showed up and finished the flight this time after problems last friday. Vince Tarquini also haveing fixed his computer. "Santa" T. Martin came in and flew a regular airplane this time. Then the other regulars were here.
It was a crowded skies for this GFI. Till next time.

Good job Brian. It was great having you with us. As you can see the GFI is the easiest way to get acquainted with VATSIM flying (you get lots of help whether you want it or not :) ).

Congratulations Brian, nothing like jumping into a "baptism of fire". That was agreat turnout on Sunday night (Monday morning here in Oz). Glad we could help Brian, well, when I say we, we all gave you moral support while Wayne gave you actual support. The ATC all the way was great and they did a good job. Thanks again for joining us Brian, I hope that has opened up a new aspect of FS for you.
Great landing also, at least you managed to stop on the runway.
