Hawaiian fly around

My latest FREQ is flying some Hawaiian routes using an Hawaiian Air Dc9.
I used to live across the Kam highway from this spot. In 1963 the USAF Delta Darts would take off right over our house. As a kid it was really neat to watch and they were loud too. The Cuban Missle Crisis took place then and it really got busy. The 707's, that is what we flew on, would leave from Honolulu and head Stateside as it was still called. Hawaii had just become a state in 1958 and people still called the continental USA, stateside. Habits are hard to break.
Just some screenshots for looks.

They replaced the old cinder block homes. This is across the street from the street sign. Location where we lived.

Certainly looks good, but, how does it fly (other than jet engines and rubber band)? Would I be too disappointed coming from the Coolsky Super 80?

At $37.94 I'm already a tad disappointed. That's a bit steep for a DC-9 that I can only fly on codeshares, but it does look pretty sweet.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that's FSDreamteam PHNL. I don't own it, but I recognize the artwork. Their new DFW scenery is awesome. :)

Nice shots!

My brother spent 3,5 years studying in Honolulu, HPU and the whole of our family went there for his graduation, the entire way from Sweden, practically to the other side of the earth. I must say I absolutely loved it and would like to return some day. We spent 2,5 weeks there befor hading home via San Francisco where we stayed a couple of days.

Wayne,
Very nice set of pictures. I second what Sergio said (RW pics are not screenshots). :D
