Just added to the AAV Calendar is VATSIM's Cross the Pond 2010 event on October 30th. Timeslots are 90% full, so book now at http://ctp.vatsim-uk.org for this great event.

Cross The Pond is a bi-annual event which takes place on VATSIM (Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network). The event features a mass Oceanic crossing, with full ATC coverage, from the United States & Canada, to Western Europe. Cross The Pond is one of the highlights of the VATSIM event calendar, and an occasion looked forward to by pilots and controllers alike every year.

This year the Eastbound event is taking place on Saturday 30th October 2010. Departure slots will be available for five hours, starting at 1100z, from four featured airports in America. Arrivals will filter into four airports in Europe throughout the evening.

You can always fly to other airports (i.e. KORD-EGLL). All they say is that "you may experience delays". What else is new in the aviation world???

Yes. This is an sanctioned AAV GFI on our AAV calendar. Just mark the FREP with the GFI checkbox.
