Rick Stevens (AAV409) and I (AAV580) thought we would be doing a duet but shortly after takeoff from Dallas Ted "Stevens" Martin (AAV537) shows up. Then a few miles further down the airways, Arturo Caraval (AAV905) pops in, so we turned out to be a quartet.
Here's a shot of American Airlines old (my Lockheed L-188 Electra) and new (Rick's 767).

We were flying into the moon. Maybe I should save this as my "spooky" Halloween shot.

The American repaint on this great freeware bird is from our own Sergio Sanchez (AAV742). Looks great, doesn't it!

For his jet, Rick only beat me to Louisville by a few minutes. Then we waited a bit for Ted and Arturo to arrive in the area.
