If any of you pilots would like to fly somewhere for a GFI, please submit it in an email or PM to us via myself.
Several criteria exist. Make it about 1½ + hours long which is about 550+- miles. And if you have it posted you have to fly it also. :lol:

Any submissions need all information i.e.

FROM:

TO:

Suggested Route;

Distance:

AAL EQUIPMENT;

NOTAM; such as links to any charts available.

If you want to fly there, write it up.

Thanks, Wayne

Too bad the DAD website is down. They had tons of airports listed...some I'd never heard of.

Dear friends:

Here in Ecuador we have one very difficult airport to land. Camilo Ponce in La Toma City 290 Nm South
of Quito . TAME airlanes operate daily one commercial flight.

My idea for a GFI flight is this.

Departure : SEQU
Destination: SETM
Suggested route : DEPARTURE ASCAZUBI MONJAS SUR QMS DCT RIOJA UW5 GIRON LOJ APP VISUAL RWY 06
Visual app start a LOJ NDB at 12000 heading 150 descending to 8500 and then turn right back to HDG 340 descending
to 4600 turning right final to small RWY 06 landing at 3900. Mountains everywhere.
Flight Level : FL260
Distance : 297 Nm
AA Equipment: ERD, ER3 , ATR 72 500
Charts and sceneries FS2004: Guayaquil FIR
You will enjoy this challenge very difficult flight. Practice first!!

Ohhhh, I remember Courchevel. I was the most difficult airport I've ever seen. I almost made the landing my first attempt only to find out FS9 had a bug and there was a whole in the middle of the runway. They had a patch for the bug but I didn't know about it before the flight. Loading the patch fixed the bug but my landings went "downhill" from that point on and was never able to put it down correctly.
