Panagiotis Zervoulias has his annual checkride today - but there is little worry that one of our Commanders with over 1600 hours might fail this on his first shot. Still, this is a one-day only opportunity. Miss it and you have to wait a full year.

Not sure how this translates into Greek, but some of the proficiencies to be demonstrated are:

1. Manual dexterity in handling a fork and spoon in consuming favorite delicacies like cake and ice cream and goat cheese.
2. Demonstrating fire fighting skills and lung capacity in blowing out blazing candles (small blaze this year)
3. Grace in accepting gifts. Remember to report all gifts received fom paying passengers on form AA-1040 (short form).

There are always a few surprises on each annual, as we all know, so I do not want to spoil it for you, Panagiotis. But, we do wish you well and that you have a joyful checkride.

Hey guys, I' m ready for this checkride Harold mentioned! Well thank you and to make it clear Harold here in Greece when somebody has birthday we start with "tsipouro" (also known as "raki") from midday, then we continue with a bottle (or two if we are a big company) of wine and about now (here is 10 o' clock in the evening) we "keep walking" (johnnie walker) and always with good company! So I wait for all of you here in Greece in Summer just to taste the "Greek goods"!

Cheers my friends!!!
