I guess what your referring to is;

A.the top windowed screen for the computer. If it is this then there is no way ( as far as I know), as it is a window feature. The only way around that is to run in full screen mode. The ALT +ENTER key stroke will put your entire monitor in full airplane view. When this is done any 2nd monitor functions are voided out. Also then any window menu function is also hidden and you cannot do anything else until you leave the full windowed mode using the key stroke again. If you want to take screen shots and not let it be there, then you have to edit the picture in an editor and crop it out.

B. the menu bar which is shut off with the right mouse key menu functions to hide the menu bar.

The FSX menu bar can be hidden by holding down the ALT key, other than that, you would have to do as Wayne said.
