Nice little birthday celebration retro GFI for retro Wayne Pierce. Particpating were Rick Stevens (AAV409), me (AAV580), Sergio Sanchez (AAV783), and Wayne (AAV783). Unfortunately, Rick had equipment probs and had to drop out early. He restarted but was far behind the three of us.

At Oakland. Had good ATC all the way and the three of us got our 727s to the destination in one piece. Nice little GFI.

Captain Sim 727. One of my favorite big jets to hand fly. No fancy electronics and computers. Pilots only - no button pushers - need apply for this bird.
Captain Sim usually has a sale around Christmas and you can pick up their planes pretty cheap ... if you can wait that long.
