I've studied US Airways and their America West merge and even spoke to a few captains about it and so far each captain I met didn't like how it was handled. Also if I'm correct the pilot contracts are still separate as of now. I do not want to offend anyone here its just I'm curious as to how this merge if approved will affect American since US Airways still have not merged their own pilot contracts as yet. Thoughts?

Maybe this will mean we all have to take the Retro Checkride to fly with AAV?

Heard a bunch of rumors recently around SkyWest that we are looking at purchasing Eagle. We have the $$ to buy them but we'll see.... I hear lots of rumors and most don't turn out to really happen.

This will be interesting to watch :)
