I picked this up. Definitely not up to the payware standards of other aircraft, but a far cry from the other version they sold to us.

The operation of the cockpit in the panel modes is a very simple, basic almost stock FSX . More than half the gauges are for looks only no function.
The autopilot panel popup is terrible, which it is combined with a glareshield and overhead, which half the icons for items are non operational.

You be the judge.

My opinion. WLP

Wayne, I have to wonder if we're just used to PMDG standards in payware A/C. (and why should we expect less??? :P )

I have the old Wilco CRJ-2004 FSX ported version and I've had enough with it. So I'm ready to jump at a newer version. That being said, haven't I heard whisperings of PMDG possibly making a CRJ series? That I might wait for... (likely not though, as I'm chomping at the bit to send my CRJ-2004 to the aviation graveyard.)

How's the FMC? That's GOT to be better than the 2004.

If PMDG does a CRJ 700/900 I wanna be a beta tester :)

Let's see....
Initial release ver 1.0 and deluxe version only gave me a few xtra paints and a "video" to watch. Yahoo !

next day release ver 1.a
next day release ver 1.b

Newest version release 1.c

All within a few "days"

Does Wilco have testers ? OH, that is right, US. I can appreciate a few things slipping by but this has me chuckling out loud at this one.

I know all payware aircraft have been like this, but this given my history with Wilco, that's is another story, it figures.
