i noticed that in FREP form there is A340 aircraft then a340-200 then A340-300 so i was wondering what it means, is there an old a-340 that i haven't flown or why is it there?

The A340-200 and 300 are the initial variants of the successful quad engined A340 family of long haul widebodies.
