Hang the banners and bring in the eats at the DFW HM office for today is a our beloved HM, Ted Martin's birthday!

We have horns, party hats, dancers ... but candles have been banned as we would have had to go to a 5 ft x 5 ft sheet cake to accomodate them all (not to mention having to call in extra firetrucks from KDAL. DFW was willing to suspend FLight Ops for 15 mins to honor Ted, but there was some kind of issue with shutting down KDAL for the hour round trip of the fire trucks).

Happy Birthday, Ted! .. and don't forget your walker, please.

I have a couple of garden hoses if that'll help! LOL

In honor of Ted's birthday, have a nice one by the way, we are escorting Ted from his HUB at KDFW, after the party, to a nice retirement facility at KABQ on the AAV GFI.

Thanks everyone. I had a GREAT weekend, starting with the GFI (though they didn't have a water cannon solute when I arrived at the destination ).

Party hats are fine but I was trying to find the dancers. What happen to the dancers!!!!!!

Sorry Ted, I brought the dancers in on my plane that I flew on the Monday night GFI. The dancers are there now for your enjoyment. Happy birthday Ted.
