B737 Cockpit Shadowing in P3Dv2

I enjoy now the shadowing effect in the P3Dv2. It does it for all aircraft, and not just the large jets as with FSX.

One can follow the light streaming in the window on the series of pictures below as I bank to the left. The sunlight moves across the cockpit from left to right. It is not just a generic shadow, if you look closely you can see the individual knobs, gauges and panel shadows.

This is the MilViz B732 payware model. I am using the REX textures for clouds and sky in my version.

This Milviz B732 works well in P3Dv2. It was designed for P3d and FSX.

That plane looks like it has seen its better times. Panel looks like it should be retired. :)

It is FSX with a different angle, a non game simulator.

This other post tells some answers.

Frame rates are a little better as the more demanding payware scenery is not being loaded. The scenery is the same.

Edit:
Reading the P3D forums, there are a host of really angry "academic" customers. It seems that there are and yes there are, quite a few problems with the new simulation. Basically because it is a port over of MSFSX.

You be your own judge for the program. WLP
