There are several ways to embed. Some get cropped, some get put in a windows with scroll bars, and when you click in the window, it expands to full size. I think links to external image sources get cropped and images that use the "Upload attachment" function of the forums get the window.

There is also the issue of large images overlapping with the pilot data on the right side. That's a bug in the forum SW that is way beyond my ability to diagnose.

Here's an interesting experiment. I picked 3 web-sites plus ours, and narrowed the windows until just before a scroll bar appeared. From this you can see we are the widest, meaning our pages don't shrink down as much as the others. This means we're less friendly for small screens, esp. tablets and smart phones. However, if you maximize width, some of these pages take advantage of the extra space, while we have a fixed maximum width.

In general, there is a lot of new web technology we could utilize to do cool stuff. I would love to do this full time. But I'll need $5,000 from each AAV member in order to maintain the lifestyle to which I've become accustomed.

Interesting. It appears the last forum SW upgrade fixed this issue by re-scaling the images to fit the column width.

Even more interesting. Different browsers do different things. Some re-scale. Some let the image blow out the right side of the frame.
